Rain is Taecyoen's Role Model
Taecyeon was asked during a guest appearance in KBS 2TV's morning show who he considers as his role model--and guess who he picked? None other than the Asian Superstar Rain! Well, I don't blame him, Rain is seen by so many as a legend in the entertainment industry...But Baby Taec is not bad either...He displayed an awesome performance in the drama 'Cinderella's Sister' and he is doing just great in 'Dream High' which is currently airing this year. So why not become someone as legendary as Rain? He got the looks and the potential to became great as well... I personally believe in him, not just because I really love him but because I know he really can do it w/ the support of those who love and believe in him as well...Go Taec! dream high and aim high!
V.V.I.P. & What Can I Do--by Baby S
It's Nice to be Back---Baby S' mini album
Hello peepz!!! I know, it’s been a long time since my last post and I really regret not updating this page...Haist! I’ve really been very busy; blame it for the anime and Korean drama series marathons... Anyways, here I am again...Of course I don’t want to miss bragging with pride our very own Seungri, who is very successful with the release of his album... Congratulations Baby! You deserve your success more than anyone...!
Admit it! Together with Big Bang, Seungri doesn’t stand out much compared to T.O.P, G-Dragon, and Taeyang, but look what his solo album made him! He became like a very different person to me... Not in the sense that his ‘head became so suddenly big ’ and got overwhelmed by his success, but in the sense that he became so charming and adorable and mature... Oh, I really can’t find the right words to describe it... I just feel that this is just the beginning of his feat...and that he will continue to climb higher and higher until the world recognizes his potential and talent...Is it too deep? OH! I don’t know, I may be wrong, but I would like to believe that I’m correct...
She is a very lucky bitch but didn’t know it. How could he reject someone as cool as Baby S? Well, she doesn’t deserve him anyway so never mind. Baby S is really so cool in this music video, although I can say that at some point, he dances like Baby T—but it’s okay, it’s not like they are the same person anyway...
Our Baby S is not a boy anymore... How lucky this girl is don't ya think?
Baby S, these past years, you've grown so much...and I hope that you will continue to grow... Don't be blinded by success--continue to be YOU... We, as V.I.P.'s will continue to support you until the end... We love you Baby S...

The 2011 BIGBANG BIG SHOW LIVE CONCERT--- Teaser released!
Big Bang has been holding their BIG SHOW concert every January since 2008 but for this year, it was reported to be held until February so that it would coincide with their comeback.
For that purpose, they already released a teaser video for the three-day concert to build anticipation for it's opening show on February 25 at the Olympic Athletics Stadium. The concert is extremely popular with both fans and industry representatives alike, as it always featured the best performances.
YG stated: "This year's 'Big Show' will feature not only Big Bang's newest tracks, but GD&T.O.P's album and Seungri's mini album as well."

Jay Park Responds to criticisms on his new tattoos
Due to increasing criticisms regarding his new tattoos, Jay tweeted: "I didn't cut my hair too short for everyone to like, I put in a lot of effort to make songs that everyone would like, and I'm even resisting doing concerts before my album comes out because I thought people were spending too much money on me. Please don't be too harsh that I have tattoos. I like it, it's a stress reliever. Telling me not to get tattoos is the same as saying "Don't rap" or "Don't dance". I express my mind through these kinds of things."
Despite of the minor scandal, Jay haven't forgotten to give an update about his upcoming album. "The newest song has beats created by Chacha, lyrics by me, and Dok2 as a rap feature. It will not disappoint."
[What the hell are those people criticizing Jay thinking?!! So what if Jay gets a tattoo? What does that have to do with them or anybody else?! Jay, despite being an idol, he's also a human being who wants to do things for himself, so people shouldn't criticize him just because of that.... Haist people!! Making me lose my cool!]

MBLAQ's comeback album, Japanese Debut, and Independence from Rain
They are back with a strong and addictive track to steal the hearts of many this year....
Lee Joon revealed on an interview with Star News, “We always thought that we weren’t properly prepared, so we worked on everything right from the start this time around. As opposed to performing something made to show ourselves off, we’re planning to express clean music and choreography. Our first official album is extremely precious to us in that it’s filled with just our voices alone.”
MBLAQ has also declared a sort of separation from their mentor and creator, Rain. Their first official album prioritized the participation of all the members, de-emphasizing Rain and leaving him to work on an extra side track instead of the main title track.
The album also features the work of E-TRIBE, Wontag, Rado, and other indie hip hop and R&B musicians to give it an extra charismatic touch.
Personally declaring it their ’second debut,’ the boys were asked how Rain felt as they underwent the preparations. Seungho replied, “Jihoon-hyung (Rain) always emphasized confidence and also asked us to leave the comfort of his arms. As a form of independence, we personally chose all of the songs and participated in the production. It was an opportunity for us to balance freedom and restriction.”
The boys also reflected on their past year, with G.O. stating, “We looked back on a lot of things such as the painful preparation we all underwent before our debut. We spent a lot of time on improving ourselves with writing music, studying, and exercising. It’s helped us get a lot stronger.”
MBLAQ also revealed that they’re panning for a Japanese debut this April. Lee Joon replied, “Before we even began a clear promotion cycle, fans from different Asian countries recognized and greeted us. We’re going to be lending our strength to the Hallyu wave soon.”
Seungho concluded, “We just want to enjoy the stage. We have to run as fast and hard as rabbits.”

Xiah Junsu’s ambiguous tweets to TVXQ’s Yunho concerns fans
JYJ Xiah Junsu’s recent series of ambiguous tweets have alarmed fans, as they may have been directed at TVXQ’s leader Yunho.
On December 6th, Xiah Junsu wrote on his Twitter, “Until now, I kept believing that it wasn’t true, I believed that (it) was the enemy of all five of us, but I guess it wasn’t really the enemy of all. To see that (they) expressed their gratitude to something I thought was both our enemies.. I guess a lot of things happened in the time we weren’t together. This is so tiring.”
He continued, “I keep wanting to think, hear, and see only good things, but it’s very hard to do that today. Even though we’ve been apart, you know that wasn’t right, hyung. We thought the same. Why are you being like this.”
In TVXQ’s ‘Thanks to’ section of their new album, Yunho expressed his gratitude towards SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man. Yunho also wrote, “Lastly~ You’ve been waiting a long time, right? Our Cassiopeia! I’m really really thankful that you waited for us to spring back. I heard this somewhere, but I heard it’s best to rest a bit before climbing a wider and taller mountain! Everyone~ Should we all hold each others’ hands tightly and climb up together? I’m so thankful, and thankful once more~ LastlyChangmin-ah~ You’d know even if I don’t say it, right? I love you! I get so much strength when you’re next to me. Should we show them how much we’ve grown? Okay! TVXQ’s second coming starts now!”
Additionally, Jaejoong was noted to have also changed his Twitter profile description to, “You keep your head up and keep an open mind”, and he tweeted, “I’m just hoping to be. I close my eyes, ears.” Many are speculating that these words were in reference to TVXQ’s comeback title track, “Keep Your Head Down.”
------- This makes me very sad... As in really sad....
It all started in the 'Thanks to' section where U-know thanked SM but never mentioned any of the three former members... I completely understand Junsu for his tweets ... U-know and Junsu have always been extremely close. They were the first two DBSK trainees and U-know even lived with Junso and his family when they were trainees. For someone to consider U-know as his blood-related brother, it would have hurt him a lot to see his brother thanking the the company who treated JYJ like crap. On top of that, SM posted on HoMin's site that they are now once again opening for Cassiopeia, stating that the fanclub is only for TVXQ (meaning, just the two of them)..
If I were Junso, I would feel extremely hurt too...
'KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN'--DBSK now released on full version
The wait is over peepz! The full version of Keep Your Head Down is now released and as expected, it turned out to be so great! Agree? Of course you should agree! Cassiopeia, you shouldn't be down, even if the 'five' are not together anymore, we should support them till the end...DBSK will always be seen as a group with FIVE members...

T.O.P talks about his music, his stage character, and how much he has grown as an artist
Let's talk about my favorite person, often referred to as the "sex god" by TKPA, which I strongly agree -- but I'm actually thinking really hard on what to call him myself...Suggestions anyone? Anyway, First of all, I wanna greet you peepz happy New Year! Say your final goodbyes to 2010 and freely welcome 2011!
Okay! What am I saying again? Oh yeah! My baby T.O.P, as gorgeous as ever, talked about how he feels about his music, his stage characters, and how he relates himself to his songs.
It was an interview posted in 'allkpop' which I copied... I just picked some from the interview questions since it's too long...
> I think your image on stage has changed since last time. At the “YG Family Concert’, the way you suddenly approached your fans very closely at the standing section, and also your rapping… it’s a different feeling.
T.O.P: It was never anything I calculated beforehand. When I’m on stage with Jiyong, we have a basic outline on what to do, but we also always perform ad-libs. I think it’s a sort of strength that we got after promoting together through the years. It’s the same with acting, but when you’re on stage, the sentiments you show on stage are never calculated, but it’s the feel of the music that we’re trying to convey. In the end, I think it’s that kind of strength where we get our confidence from.
T.O.P: Rather than a special reason, I’ve actually been questioning myself a lot over the past year. Before, I used to think, “Why am I doing this?” There were also a lot of aspects about my work that gave me a hard time, and I began to think about whether I was carrying a load that was too heavy for me. But as I grew older, the question changed into, “What does the general public want from me?”
> Before, it felt like you were digging deeper into your inner self, but now you’re thinking of ways to influence other people. How were you able to shift your mindset?
T.O.P: I think I began to expand my thoughts about the world. The world is so chaotic, but there are still people who live difficult lives without the ability to obtain strength. But those very people are either people who look over me and Big Bang, or people who listen to our music. I wanted those people to feel vicarious satisfaction when listening to anyone’s music. That’s why I began to think of different methods to allow people to feel that satisfaction.
[Those bitches got their hands on my T.O.P's sweaty but so hmmmmmm face that I'm so jealous I wanna cut those hands with my own!]
T.O.P: To be honest, when I was in my younger mindset, I didn’t really like people’s interest and love, as they felt burdensome. I never derived joy from it. As I threw away that greed, other things came more natural to me – musical greed. But thoughts of having to do something with my music also disappeared.
In the past, when we released a new song, I think I said, “We hope for a lot of your interest” a lot, but now it’s okay if people don’t show interest. Instead, I want to become a person that amplifies a person’s interest. That’s why I wanted to return the amount I received, and that’s why I forced myself a lot to study more about music. I have so much more to show everyone.
> Is this in any way related to your own life situation? You were active as an actor for some time, and then released all your music at once through this album.
T.O.P: When I returned from acting in ‘Into the Gunfire‘, I saw that GD was already producing music, and I too started working on Big Bang’s album the moment I came back. During that time, the flow of the music had changed drastically. Many brilliant artists were promoting at the time as well, but I was absent from that flow while I was away. I had to take a step back to reorganize my thoughts.
T.O.P: Yes. Compared to others our age, we get to stand in front of a huge amount of people. We may receive a lot of praise and criticisms, but after experiencing that process repeatedly, I got tired of it. That’s why I wanted to maintain a certain distance from people, and wanted to become a person you could only see on stage or hear through music. However, since the #1 priority is to satisfy the listeners, this album became a project over which we stressed about a lot on how to merge these two aspects together.
T.O.P: I think about it all the time. But I think I’ve almost reached the answer to those problems. Musically, for example, instead of thinking, “What does the general public like and what kind of trend will we go for?”, it’s better to do what I want to do, and go for something that’s never been tried before but not going too far, because if I make the wrong choice, there are still some good people out there who would catch me right away. If I believe in those people, I will always be able to go towards a new direction with a type of boldness that’s not too bold.
> I think that’s why your lyrics in this album have character. Rappers feel like fake characters, but at the same time, you can express what you want to say in your most confident manner.
T.O.P: When we decided to promote together, the first thing we talked about was writing lyrics that only we have the capability to write. After all, at our young age, a vast amount of people anticipate us, as well as dole out criticisms. We wanted to write lyrics about us in that sort of situation. There are people who may call this a bluff. However, we really wanted to write lyrics that were hard to refute against. Kind of like, “This is what we are, you think you can refute?”
[Awesome duo performance!]
T.O.P: That’s right. We wanted to show the foundations of GD and myself through the sampling of old school hip hop music. Through this, we wanted to ask what kind of rap was more sincere. Because I talked about my stories and current life through my own methods.
> Was ‘Oh Mom’ the opposite of that method? The song was different from your other songs with GD, in that it wasn’t about the person people saw you as, but actually about your own personal life.
T.O.P: ‘Oh Mom’ is based on a true story. I can’t tell the story in detail, but you can consider it as a gift that I wanted to give to a friend who was gravely ill. It is an incredibly meaningful song to me – to be honest, it wasn’t actually a song that was in the tracklist, but I really wanted to add it in, so we ended up putting it in.
> I think that aspect of music matches well with your personal goals and your thoughts for the general public.
T.O.P: Our songs were derived more from our instincts rather than complicated thoughts, but we’re people who have reached great success as Big Bang from such a young age. To be honest, we’re kids who are sensitive in their desire to do music. In that time, we’ve felt a lot, and we wanted to express those sentiments, but we also wanted to discover our purposes. When we take a step back to reflect on ourselves, we get to see the bigger picture and our purposes become clearer, little by little. That’s why we want to give confidence to the general public, and I want to become an life ‘vitamin’ for both me and the people around me.
> Your confidence sure is a “knockout” (Laughs). There might be people sharpening their blades every time you go on stage to attack – what do you think it’s going to be like?
T.O.P: Our blades are sharper. (Laughs)
