Jay Park and Kwon Ri Sae become a campus couple for ‘Denizen’

A couple of weeks ago, Jay Park and Kwon Ri Sae participated in a photoshoot for denim brand, ‘Denizen from Levi’s‘, which was featured on MBC’s ‘Section TV Entertainment News‘.
The photoshoot for Denizen’s 2011 Fall campaign took place on July 5th at a studio in Kangnam, Seoul, where the two models portrayed the look of a cute college campus couple.
Although this was Jay Park and Kwon Ri Sae’s first meeting, they successfully completed the shoot with natural poses and expressions similar to those of a real couple.
A representative stated, “We chose Jay Park and Kwon Ri Sae as our models because we felt that the two would be able to express the active image of college students very well. We wish to display the image of a college campus couple, and have many events planned that will focus on college campuses.”

Jay Park expresses his excitement about joining ‘Immortal Song 2′

On August 8th, singer Jay Park sat down for an interview with Seoul NTN and expressed his excitement about joining KBS’s ‘Immortal Song 2‘.
Before he went to his stage for the music program, the star met with reporters and revealed, “I wasn’t able to sleep the night before the recording, but I’m still having a lot of fun.”
After concluding his promotional cycle for “Abandoned“, Jay Park was rarely seen on programs. Fans who hungered to see their favorite idol were overjoyed to hear that Jay Park would appear on the program, and Jay Park himself seemed happy to know that his fans were eagerly waiting for him.
He said, “I’m glad to be able to be on a variety program. It feels even greater because my fans are happy. In hopes of better preparation and showing a great image, I only slept 3 hours the night before.”
On working with his Sidus HQ labelmates for the show’s upcoming ‘best friend’ stage, he said, “Our schedules didn’t match up, so it was hard to find time to practice, but I’m sure it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
When asked what it was like working with Moon Hee Jun for H.O.T.’s past hit, “Candy“, he replied, “I’m extremely grateful that I even took second place. I never once thought that I needed to win first place.”
When asked to choose a fellow cast member on the show to work on music with, he chose MBLAQ’sG.O. “He’s a great singer, and I’d love to sing with him some day.”

Taecyeon explains the pictures of 2PM members disappearing

On “Strong Heart,” 2PM’s Taecyeon explained the pictures of various members disappearing while leaving their clothes behind as if only their bodies vanished into thin air.
He said, “There was a concert in Taiwan and I shared a room with Junsu. Even in Korea, Junsu tends to disappear a lot. Because he left his clothes behind, I thought he went to the bathroom. After ten to fifteen minutes, he didn’t come out. When I opened the door, he wasn’t in there. Junsu had set up the clothes he wore that day on his bed as if he had been lying down when only his body vanished.

I thought I could find out where he went because there were fans outside, so I put up the picture via sns (social networking service). While I was doing that he came in wearing a white gown. He said he had been next door in Junho’s room. But the missing picture received a warm response on the internet.”
After this warm response, the 2PM members started a picture-taking parade. Unable to remain solely affected, Junsu also took a picture of Taecyeon’s clothes lying on the bed.

After more good reactions, Taecyeon and Junsu called over Nichkhun and Chansung to also let them in on the ‘Missing 2PM’ picture phenomenon.
Taecyeon said, “I thought that I definitely had to call over Wooyoung, too. When I found him and tried to get him to take off his clothes, he said he couldn’t and had to cover up no matter what, so I took this picture.” In the hilarious picture seen below, Wooyoung is lying on the bed while the other members wore white gowns and stood over him.

After School’s UEE has a crush on 2PM’s Chansung?

After School’s UEE revealed that she’s got a little crush on 2PM’s maknae Chansung.
On the most recent recording of KBS2TV’s “Happy Together Season 3“, the male and female guests on the program had to couple up for a game.
But before they did, the guests had to say who they wanted to be partnered with.
During this corner, UEE chose Chansung, and her reason was: “I want to know more about him.” The MCs asked her what about him she wanted to know, and she became a bit flustered.
UEE revealed that Chansung is the type of guy she likes, so she’s curious about what kind of a guy he is. Due to her confession, Chansung got a little embarrassed, but quite happy.
Thereafter, UEE showed Chansung a sexy dance to show her charms, and the other 2PM members on set were apparently very jealous of their maknae.
This episode will air on August 4th.

Manager Lee Ju Seob talks about 2PM

On the July 30th airing of SBS’s ‘2PM Show‘, 2PM’s manager Lee Ju Seob made some honest confessions about the 2PM members.
The manager, who has been with the group since their debut, revealed how he felt about each member from his first impressions to other events he silently witnessed.  As he made each revelation one by one, the 2PM members all felt slightly anxious.

The person who left the strongest first impression, according to the manager, was Nichkhun.  ”I kept an eye on him 3 years ago during his training days. He has caught my eyes from the very beginning” he said and complimented Nickhun on his demeanor.
When asked who out of the group changed the most, the manager revealed that it was maknaeChansung. “When he first appeared in the sitcom I thought he was very child-like, but I think he has changed the most out of the group“. Although Chansung is the youngest, he showed a very mature side of him and eloquently replied to his manager.

Manager Lee Ju Seob also confessed that Taecyeon was the most stubborn, but added, “his stubbornness comes along with his confidence. His confidence is something to respect and strive for“.

Now it’s ‘Pay Back’ time for Nichkhun!

Do you remember the video I posted before on Dalgona Show? On Taecyeon and Wooyoung’s cut revealing their first loves? Recap: Wooyoung and Taecyeon’s first loves revealed that they were NIchkhun fans. That was the first thing that came to me when I heard about this ‘Big’ thing about Nichkhun left with 0 vote. I was laughing because we all know that Nichkhun is the ‘favorite’ among 2PM members, but suddenly, nobody wants him already? As I’ve said, it’s payback time my Khun!
Through KBS ‘Dream Team’, aired on July 31st, 2PM had a competition with ‘Dream Team’ members.  Before the competition, Junho and Nichkhun we asked to form partners with one of their fans. However, most of the fans chose Junho as their partner, leaving Nichkhun partner-less with no votes of interest.
Nichkhun later chose a student, but she stated that she was Wooyoung’s fan. She stated that she was not too happy being partnered with Nichkhun, leaving Nichkhun lost for words.

‘Mr. IDOL’ to hit theaters in October

Starring: Ji Hyun Woo, who will play the lead vocals, (and BTW, I don’t know him much, and honestly, it’s the first time I heard his name), our very own Jay Park is included in the main cast! Yay! The other two are Jang Soo Won, (I don’t know him either) and Randy Kim (and this one too). The only reason I’m gonna watch this movie is because of my Jaebum.Hahaha.

Nichkhun and Victoria head to the Maldives

2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria headed to the beautiful Maldives on August 1st for a sweet getaway.
According to a representative for MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘, the couple flew to the Maldives earlier today. He stated, “The two will return on August 6th, after completing filming for 5 nights and 6 days.”
The couple previously went on trips together for photoshoots, but the purpose of this special trip is for relaxation and to spend some time together on their own.
The representative raised anticipation of their trip by saying, “I can’t explicitly reveal what they’ll do during their trip, but their relationship will get even closer.”
During July 30th’s broadcast of ‘We Got Married’, Nichkhun and Victoria tried their hand at farming by planting peppers and lettuce. The two bickered during the process due to a disagreement, but later made up with deep ’skinship’. Next week’s preview shows them visiting Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae.

 The segment began with 2PM talking about how they failed to cast f(x)’s Krystal to feature in their latest track, “Hands Up“. Taecyeon said, “J.Y. Park told us to ask Krystal ourselves, but I’m the one who communicates with SM so I sent the text to Krystal to ask.”
Taecyeon revealed that he wanted Kim Yuna at first but gave up after turning on the TV and seeing news reports of Kim Yuna leaving for Russia. “All of the members then chose f(x)’s Krystal, but out of everyone, Junho was the most enthusiastic about casting her.”
Krystal accepted the offer, but the entire recording was unfortunately canceled because of the song’s lyrics containing lines like, ‘Enjoying the club‘, and ‘Let’s drink‘.
As she is a minor born in 1994, representatives felt that the song was unsuitable for Krystal. Eventually, the song was turned over to Wonder Girls’ Sohee.
MC Kang Ho Dong pressed, “How did you find out Krystal’s phone number?” Taecyeon replied, “I found out through SNSD’s Jessica.”
Super Junior’s Eunhyuk then raised suspicions by asking, “Nichkhun and Victoria are a virtual couple so you could have asked Nichkhun to find out Krystal’s number. Why did you go through Jessica? Even I don’t know Jessica’s number.”
Kang Ho Dong continued by asking, “Do you know the SNSD members’ numbers?” Taecyeon replied, “I don’t know all of their numbers.”
Pressing further, Kang Ho Dong asked, “Is it only Jessica’s number you know then?” Put on the spot, Taecyeon finally responded, “I don’t talk to Jessica often. I call her when I have a favor to ask.”
Fellow guest Kim Young Chul made the studio burst into laughter by commenting that the two were of ‘business relations’ then.

Jay Park to join Immortal Song 2

Jay Park fans, you have a show to watch already because Jay is joining ‘Immortal Song 2’! Aren’t you all excited? Damn! I am! Changmin, Hongki, and Junsu are leaving the show because of conflicting schedules, so Jay, along with Huh Gak and Kyuhyun are joining as new cast members.
